Workshop Details

Have you learned the basics of wet felting and want to take your skills to the next level? This felting class incorporates the basics of wet felting, needle felting and creating your own design. It’s great for both the beginner and experienced felters who want to tap into their creativity and take their felting practice to the next level. In this class you will be making a vase. You will learn how to create a 3- dimensional piece using a resist. You will explore a variety of design possibilities and felting techniques creating a unique vase that expressed your personal style. Class will be taught by Judith Mueller. She is a mixed media visual and felt artist with a BFA from UBCO. Date: Sunday June 8, 2025 Time: 10 -3 pm Location: Guild Studio - Room 204 Fee: $120 Materials: Students will need to bring 80-100g of roving, Accent colours and textural bits will be provided by the instructor to create design and texture in the vase.
